Ok - This blog is a daily application of a weekly topic. The weekly topic is the Word of God as preached by Bishop Billy Ferg at Living Faith International Church. In essence, to apply that word to our lives, and communicate more deeply how that Word is affecting us. If we can articulate how Christ is moving through us on a daily basis, as initiated by revelation in the Word, then we are truly alive in Christ. With that, let there be freedom of expression here as we blog on about our lives in Christ.

Here is a piece of scripture I found that will help support this topic of Double for your Trouble. "whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men; knowing that from the Lord you shall recieve the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ." Col 3:23-24. I feel that using the word "double" puts limitations in to place. In Christ there are no limitations. For the inheritance, ALL blessing is upon us.

This week's topic of the Abrahamic covenant was riveting to say the least. I'm always hit between the eyes with the faithfulness of an ordinary person like Abraham who took God at His word. This week we heard about the Galatians, whom Paul called fools because they'd let someone talk them out of the truth they had heard. Never thought about that before... that they're forever listed in the annals of history as FOOLS simply because they could be talked out of their sound doctrines they'd heard and believed. I know what it's like to be pressured by those people that one either fears or esteems and it's emotionally painful at times to stay the course. Mental pressure can be horrific; but I'm glad I haave stayed my course in my Christianity. Not perfectly, but I'm still here. I wouldn't want to be called a fool by God, so that I could please someone by "coming around", would you? Check out Gal.3 and see for youself.
